Homework for This Week September 17th!!

Again here are the spelling words for this week:

Our new high-frequency words are:
day, every, her, said, was, with

Review words are:
buy, that, very, where

Make sure your child is reviewing all the words that were sent home.  You will be receiving another set of words shortly. 

Homework for the week:
Monday
Read Red Hen and sign book and send back. 
Tuesday
Pick five spelling words and write a sentence with each.
Wednesday
Complete math worksheet.
Thursday
Write your spelling words three times each.  Study words for your test tomorrow.
Friday
NO HOMEWORK!  HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!
Every Night
Read for 10-15 minutes, count to 50, count by 5’s to 100, use the blue high-frequency word flash cards

Fall is Coming!

You can tell!  It's in the air!! FALL!!!!

The students are loving the cooler weather at recess and so are the teachers.  Hope you are too!!  We have been discussing the seasons in class, and the students are working on a classroom seasons collage.

We are studying landforms and would like to make landforms out of Playdough.  Anyone who would like to send in some Playdough, that would be great.  We will be doing this next week.
