A New Year!!

Welcome back to school!! I hope everyone had a relaxing and joyous break!!

We have begun our study of living things.  The students had a blast dissecting flowers today!!  We learned about the different parts of a plant and what the needs of a plant are.  In social studies we are exploring the adventures of Lewis and Clark!

Happenings!!

There is alot happening this month at JME.  We won't have any spelling test the week of December 10th due to the first grade musical.  Also, the holiday dance is December 14th.  Check it out!!

Fall Is Here!!

First, let me apologize for not posting for awhile.  I was not feeling well most of October, but am feeling much better now!!

We are well into our 2nd nine weeks.  The students have been having fun with magnets and learning about Folk Heros.  We are beginning our math unit on shapes and fractions, as well as, continuing working with our math facts.

Fall Festival!!
